The U.S. Boxing League was established in 2012 in the state of Colorado with the goal and mission of bringing the sport of boxing into the major leagues.
The major boxing league competition is team-based. Regular season, leading to qualifying playoffs with the two best teams in competition in the championship event.

CLASSIFICATIONS:
Heavy – 220-239 lbs.
Junior Heavy – 200-219 lbs.
CLASSIFICATIONS:
Middle – 170-184 lbs.
Junior Middle – 155-169 lbs.
CLASSIFICATIONS:
Light – 135-144 lbs.
Junior Light – 125-134 lbs.
CLASSIFICATIONS:
Fly – 110-114 lbs.
Junior Fly – 105-109 lbs.
An event will consist of 12 bouts being contested, one match per division classifiction. Each team will participate in Fifteen (15) total regular season events.
Scoring will be as follows:
Winner by Knock Out – 6 Points
Winner by Technical Knock Out – 4 Points
Winner by Unanimous Decision – 3 Points
Winner by Spilt Decision – 2 Point
Winner by Majority Decision – 1 Point
Contest end in a Draw – 0 Points
Team awarded the most points after all individual contests have been contested is declared the victor of the event. In the occurrence of a tie score at the end of a regular season event, the event will be declared a draw.
Note: Boxoff events cannot end in a team tie, boxoff tie breaking rules will apply
